The longest New Year’s celebrations in the world

Every corner of the city turns into an outdoor stage for a month of music, art, performances, Christmas events and great concerts. The spectacle of the illuminations, exhibitions, Christmas markets, traditional Nativity scenes and those made from sand light up the atmosphere of the most anticipated holidays and shin a new and welcoming light on the whole city. The December 31 highlight, as usual, are the many New Year’s Eve celebrations spread throughout the city, starting with the big concert in Fellini Plaza, just steps away from the winter sea, and then on to the many festivities in the Old Town.
